Fun at the Renaissance Faire

Image
On Saturday, I went to a Renaissance Faire in Krenery Park, outside of  Fresno.  Many people were dressed up at the Renaissance Faire. I saw some of the people dressed up as knights and pirates. There were some performances at the faire. I heard the cannon go off, and I was scared of the noise. I also enjoyed watching the juggler show at the faire. He was juggling some swords, and I laughed hard with my friends. I ordered a fresh pepperoni pizza from the food stand, where the cashier dressed as a peasant. I enjoyed eating pizza and ordering coffee for lunch.  I bought a cute leather key chain with a unicorn journal design. It is vintage. It made me imagine a medieval lady writing in her journal like this.  I had such a fun time exploring everything at the Renaissance Faire!

Halloween is Super Fun!

Image
Halloween is my favorite holiday!  I always enjoy wearing a costume, decorating the room, and joining fun activities.  On Thursday, I went to a pumpkin patch. I went on the magic carpet ride, the Yo-Yo ride, and the Ferris wheel ride, and I had fun on all of it.   After the rides, I bought a burger and fries. I also drank orange-crushed soda. For dessert, I had a funnel cake with candies. I bought a white pumpkin. I had fun with my friends at the pumpkin patch.   On Friday, I attended a Halloween party at my friend's apartment. We watched Hocus Pocus and ate popcorn and cookies. What a fun night with friends!

Volunteering at the Shinzen Japanese Garden

Image
I enjoy the volunteer activities provided by the Wayfinders. My favorite is the Shinzen Japanese Garden.  I have been there with my family before.  It's beautiful and peaceful. The pond, bridge, maple trees, and Japanese lamppost give me a Zen feel. I like nature so much that   I  enjoy volunteering in this garden.   On Saturday, I volunteered at the Japanese garden again. I helped them rake up the leaves and pull the weeds. The garden looks very clean and organized. For lunch, I had veggie and cheese pizza and drank water with it. I enjoyed   my lunch with my friends.  While cleaning the garden, I saw a peacock walking on the wooden fence and t he koi fish swimming happily in the pond. What a rewarding day!

Chicken Wings Feast

Last week, I cooked the chicken wings in the air fryer.  My dad always makes chicken wings at home. I bought the chicken wings at the store. It is not expensive. For dinner, I seasoned the chicken wings with salt and pepper. Then I put them in the air fryer. The chicken wings were very juicy and crunchy. It tasted like home. I enjoyed my delicious feast, and  I ate apples for dessert. I had a wonderful chicken wings feast.

Chilean Sea Bass

My mom gave me fresh sea bass. On Saturday,  I made the  sea bass by air fryer. It's a little bit golden and crispy on the outside and tender inside. The sea bass has a subtle sweetness. It's delicious with salt and pepper.   I also made salad and chicken  noodle soup. I enjoyed the sea bass with them.  I enjoyed cooking and eating the sea bass.  It's the best tasty sea fish!

My First College Football Game in the Stadium

Image
I watched the Fresno State football game with my friends on Saturday night. It was my first time watching a football game in the stadium and the first football game of the season, Fresno State vs. Sacramento State.   I sat on the bleacher with my friends Kate, Kayla, and Gabriel.  We all cheered for our football team: "Go, Bulldogs!"  We also barked as dogs and did the wave movement. There was a marching band, color guard, and cheerleading for the halftime show. I enjoyed watching the halftime show. I bought a slice of pepperoni pizza and Pepsi for dinner.  I had a wonderful time at the football game; our team won.  I want to watch more games at the stadium.

Visiting Sequoia National Park

Image
My family and I  went to Sequoia National  Park on Labor Day weekend . I walked around and saw many sequoia trees in the parks.  I had fun playing with the sequoia tree. I hugged it and poked around the trunk with a stick.  At last, I found the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree in the world. It's giant! Many people waited in the long line to take a picture with it, and  I took a picture, too.     It's fun to explore the Sequoia National Park.
