Delicious combo pizza

Image
Last Sunday, I made a combo pizza with sausage meatballs, mushroom toppings, cheese, and pizza sauce. I put my pizza in the oven to bake and set the timer for 15 minutes.  After the pizza was done baking, I let it cool off a bit. I used my knife to cut the pizza into bite-sized pieces. I enjoyed eating my Sunday combo pizza dinner.  My pizza was very delicious.   I had fun making my own combo pizza. I will make it again, and I would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Wine Tasting Trip to Napa Valley

Image
Over the spring break, my family and I went to a Napa Valley vineyard, Domaine Carneros. We went to a chateau wine tasting room. We ordered the sparkling wine sampler. We tasted every sparkling wine. My favorite sparkling wine is Brut RosĂ©.     We ate the pate and duck meat board with crackers and bread. We also ate the fresh oysters with hot sauce.  After wine tasting, we went downtown Napa to the Oxbow Market to shop around. I sampled the olive oil and ordered and ate the horchata-flavored ice cream from the shop.  We continued walking around Downtown Napa and went to a Historical library to look around. I saw many musical instruments in glass casings.       I had a pleasant sparkling wine tasting trip in Napa Valley.

Yummy Coconut Curry Shrimp Dish

Image
Last Monday, I made the coconut curry shrimp dish with a coach. First, I peeled the carrots, trimmed the ends, and cut them into blocks. Then, I put all the carrots, green onion, and shrimp into a pan. After a while, I added the curry powder and coconut milk to the pan and simmered them.  I enjoyed cooking and eating coconut curry shrimp with rice.  P.S. Wayfinders recently posted a photo of me and this meal on Facebook.

Steaming Jasmine Rice

Image
I want to share how I cooked the rice using a steamer pot. First, I put the water into the pot and turned on the burner.  Next, I measured the rice using the measuring cup, put it in the bowl, and washed it. Then, I put the water into the rice. The water and rice are the same amount.   When the water was boiling, I put the rice into the steamer.  After 15 minutes,  it was done. I let the jasmine rice cool off. I enjoyed eating rice with tofu and meat. It is very easy to make.  I would highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Teriyaki Chicken Bowl

Image
I enjoyed the teriyaki chicken bowl, so I decided to make my own. I bought the chicken breast. First, I cut the chicken into cubes. Then, I cooked the chicken in a pan. After the chicken had turned brown, I added the teriyaki sauce. Quickly, it was done. I put the teriyaki chicken on the steamed rice I had made earlier. I enjoyed eating the teriyaki chicken with rice.  The chicken is very juicy and tender. It has a savory-sweet, umami-rich flavor. The jasmine rice is soft, fluffy, and slightly sticky. It’s so delicious!  I had the best chicken teriyaki bowl in the world. I highly recommend it to my friends and family.

Chinese New Year Party

Image
On Saturday, I joined my friend Grace's Chinese New Year party. We were celebrating the Year of the Snake. Grace's mom bought Panda Express food for us. I ate orange chicken with fried rice and beef, and I  also ate chow mein. I drank root beer and apple cider. For dessert, we had a delicious chocolate cake.  As a guest, I brought a bag of coconut rice cookies and a bag of sesame cookies.  They are unique for the Chinese New Year. We played  Mario Cart on Nintendo Switch. We played all the games. We watched the lion dance on TV. We laughed together, and we had a good  Chinese New Year Party. I got a lot of red envelopes. I enjoyed the food.  I had a blast at the party.   Happy Chinese New Year, everyone!

My Chia Pet

Image
Have you planted a chia pet?  Planting a chia pet is so much fun because it's like a mini gardening project. It's easy to plant with instant rewards. Let me tell you what I did. After my dad and I bought the Baby Yoda Chia Pet planter kit from Amazon, I quickly read the instructions on how to plant the chia pet. First, I soaked the chia pet planter in a bowl and set the timer on the microwave.   Next, I soaked the chia seeds in the plastic drip tray until they became gel-like. After that, I rubbed the chia seeds onto the planter.  Finally, I watered the chia plant through the planter hole. I waited for two days and noticed the green sprouts growing out. I was so excited!   But, the chia sprouts grew very wildly.  The baby Yoda was covered with green grass. I needed to rescue him.   I used my scissors to trim the plant.  It's funny and playful.
