Shopping at the Farmer’s Market

My mom and I had a festive shopping at the New Park Mall Farmer’s Market. I walked around the stalls and saw many fresh vegetables.

I have never seen the purple bell pepper. It’s unique. I was curious about the taste, so I bought some.

I found prickly cucumbers and colorful heirloom tomatoes. They are my favorites.

I also bought a white bitter melon and mini seedless grapes.

I bought a box of pork bao, the traditional Chinese food.

After we got home, we prepared lunch quickly. I washed the tomatoes. I cut the cucumbers into cubes and sprinkled seasonings. I microwaved pork bao for a minute.

The pork bao was very juicy and tender with fresh tomatoes and cucumbers.
