Spaghetti Carbonara

Image
I made spaghetti carbonara with Nikki at home. It’s my first time making it. It’s easy and successful! First, we cooked the spaghetti in the large pot until al dente. Then we cooked the bacon in the pan with butter until the bacon was crispy. Next, we made the sauce with two eggs and cheese. Last, we added the noodles to the bacon and sauce, seasoned with salt and pepper, and mixed them with the spatula. Done. It’s very savory. The noodles are very chewy. Each noodle is coated with sauce and bacon flavor. It’s so delicious!

Poached Chicken Breast

Image
Yesterday, I made poached chicken breast. It was delicious and easy to make. First, I rinsed the chicken breast under cold water.  Second, I put the chicken in a soup pot with cold water and added a seasoning bag. Inside the bag were peppercorns and a star anise. Then I sprinkled some salt into the water. I set the temperature to high and waited for the water to boil. Then I reduced the temperature to medium-high and set a timer for 10 minutes. After the timer went off, I took the chicken out of the pot. Lastly, I cut the chicken into small cubes. I used some in the salad and saved the rest in the small glass container. I added some seaweed seasoning to the water to make chicken soup.

It’s a large park on a hill with plenty of bamboo forest. The pandas are housed in different areas according to their age and needs. We rode the electric golf cart around the panda base. We could get off at any stop. First, we went to see the little pandas. A panda was sitting in the tree, welcoming us. In the house, I saw a few cute pandas playing with each other. They also fought with each other, as toddlers do. When a little panda fell to the ground from a bridge, people laughed. Then we saw red pandas playing in the outdoor natural habitat. They were very playful. They jumped from branch to branch. Sometimes I could find them. Sometimes I couldn’t find them. I walked around the enclosure wall to spy on them. It’s so much fun!  The pandas are most active in the morning and less active in the afternoon. We saw a larger panda in h...
