Pub-style Shepherd’s Pie

First, I diced the carrot, onion, and potatoes and trimmed the thyme leaves.

Then I made the mashed potatoes.

And I cooked the vegetables with the ground beef.

I put the vegetables and beef filling into a baking pan, topped it with the mashed potatoes, and sprinkled it with cheddar cheese.

Finally, I broiled the shepherd’s pie in the oven for five minutes.

The pie was delicious.
