Delicious Butter Chicken

My friend Nikki and I looked up a butter chicken recipe on Pinterest.


 

And we went to Walmart to gather all the ingredients for the butter chicken recipe.


We bought a canned tomato puree and butter chicken seasoning mix.

First, I cut the chicken into cubes.


Second, I seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper, with a butter chicken seasoning packet.


Next, I cooked the chicken in the pan with the sauce.


Then, I made the butter chicken sauce using Greek yogurt, canned tomato puree, and a butter chicken seasoning mix. 


All in all, my friend Nikki helped me cook the rice in the microwave.


I had delicious butter chicken for lunch.

Sleepover at Cal Academy of Sciences

I joined my scout’s sleepover event at Cal Academy of Sciences on Cinco de Mayo evening. Ms. Helen took Selina, Jenna, and me there, and we met other scouts at the entrance. First, we put our stuff down at Piazza. Then, we started exploration. We walked around to see the white alligator and went to the African Hall. I saw many animals, including leopards and giraffes. At the end of the hall, I saw penguins. Later, we watched a movie called Expedition Reef. After the movie, we went to the aquarium to see fish. We also went to the living roof at night. I saw a Ferris wheel far away. We listened to a storybook that was read by the museum staff. For a snack, I ate a cookie with apple juice. Finally, it was bedtime. I set up my sleep stuff first. I laid out my beach towel on the floor. I put my yoga mat on it.  And I placed the sleeping bag on the top. I went to sleep after I washed my face, brushed my teeth, and wore pajamas. Chinese New Year Party

On Saturday, I joined my friend Grace's Chinese New Year party. We were celebrating the Year of the Snake. Grace's mom bought Panda Express food for us. I ate orange chicken with fried rice and beef, and I  also ate chow mein. I drank root beer and apple cider. For dessert, we had a delicious chocolate cake.  As a guest, I brought a bag of coconut rice cookies and a bag of sesame cookies.  They are unique for the Chinese New Year. We played  Mario Cart on Nintendo Switch. We played all the games. We watched the lion dance on TV. We laughed together, and we had a good  Chinese New Year Party. I got a lot of red envelopes. I enjoyed the food.  I had a blast at the party.   Happy Chinese New Year, everyone!
